findings along the river ribble

hi guys these are some more photography’s taken on my walk along the river ribble in Preston, this is the riverbank.

this is the wooden. concrete columns from the taller side off them

a brick on the river bank that has accrington stamped on it , so has come from that end of the river at least 10/15 miles away

this is down on the river bank . i think the wooden and concrete columns are for keeping a bout on that you want out of water though I”m not sure. They where waist high on me and im 5ft4 to give you some idea of the high of the taller ones.

a tree that was washed up on the riverbank after it had fallen

full view up the river with the motorway bridge in the distance and the wood columns in the for ground on the riverbank.

these are some of the things i found along the riverbank today.

these are small oil rivers that where flowing slowly down the riverbank from the roads. its sad to see that we are making such a mess on the planet with out even knowing

this is a interesting way of looking at the boat as if your only briefly looking in on the boats world

a real close up of the boat , with moss and nails in view

this is a washed up boat on the riverbank , There is only half off the boat still in one piece

i have changed my blog theme as it just didn’t seem to be working out, the new one looks better. Iv been out working at least once a week and have many photos to uploads as well as some drawings ill try my best to get them all up over the weekend hope you enjoy and here are some for know 😀

hi everyone sorry i haven’t updated my blog for so long be a long week anyways i have plenty to update you on 🙂

River ribble

some more photographs from my walk along the river ribble.

A fallen tree along the river bank , dyed and slowly rotting.
grass , litter and other things tangled in its roots.

Now looking down towards Preston center with the manor house which is part of avenham and miller park in the distance and closer is the bridge over the river its self.

This is a bridge on the oppsite side of the river to me , not sure whats its used for now though.

the river bank here is like a pebbled beach going long and far.

This is part of the river where, the river bank has been built into a damn like banking, to stop the river bursting its banks.
you can also see stair that are unreachable from the riverbank as its to low at the moment.
On the damn banking you can also see the different levels the river has been over the years.
